REVEREND TAMMY PRATHER

In 2024, Reverend Tammy Prather was installed as the Pastor of Mt. Victory. She strives to advance the church's mission through the gifts of the Holy Spirit to shepherd, teach, lead, encourage, and equip the body of Christ. Praise be to God!

Pastor Prather answered the call to salvation at the age of twenty and has dedicated most of her life to advancing God’s kingdom. Over the years, she served faithfully in the youth, choral, finance, and missions ministries. She also started a women’s ministry and the MVBC Bible Institute. Her evangelistic passion has taken her to street corners, correctional facilities, revivals, and conferences throughout the East Coast and the Caribbean. Her greatest passion is her counseling ministry, Called 2 Serve for Christ (C2S4Christ), which focuses on restorative care for those seeking emotional healing.

She is a loving mother of one son and six grandchildren. For more than 30 years, she and her late husband, Rev. Darrell Prather, faithfully served in ministry together. She holds a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Maple Springs Baptist Bible College and Seminary. She loves the Lord and is a person of compassion and empathy. A favorite scripture of hers is John 13:35: “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another (New King James Version).”
